Our soap is handcrafted from the finest botanical ingredients in an effort to provide the bather with a moment of separation from the mundane, frantic rhythms of our hurried present lifestyle, a moment to envelope themselves in the sensual experience of washing. The steam distilled essential oils we use to scent the bars are complex plant extracts with nuanced scents that stir the imagination and calm the emotions.

Believing that bathing should be an uplifting experience, we have chosen scents known around the world and throughout the ages to instill positive feelings. Some are calming, like lavender, others invigorating, like clove. Whichever scent you choose, you can feel confident that you are inhaling only pure essential oil, never synthetic fragrance oils, extracted only with steam, never solvents.  The result is an aroma which lets the mind wander into relaxation during the bathing ritual.

The mixture of organic extra virgin olive oil, organic palm oil, and organic coconut oil produces a firm, long-lasting bar with a richly foaming lather rinses easily, even in cold water. Because we use the cold-process method of soapmaking, all of the vegetable glycerin, a natural moisturizer produced during saponification, is retained in our soaps. The result is a soap that gently moisturizes the skin while you are bathing, often making a lotion unnecessary.  Also, our recipes are "superfatted", meaning that there is an additional amount of organic plant oil added to produce a bar which creates a luxurious smoothness on the skin, both during washing and afterwards.
